To ensure longevity and prevent damage, it is essential to coat all faces and edges of both the frame and doors with a high-quality sealer before installation. This step protects against moisture ingress, which can lead to shrinkage, warping, twisting, and splitting of the frame and doors. It is advised to avoid water-based stains, paints, or varnishes.

Installation Guidelines

For optimal installation, consider the following:

• Brick Wall: Line the brick wall with polythene between the brickwork and the frame.
• Stud Wall: The opening of the plasterboard faced stud wall should be lined with wood to support the frame. If the wall is thinner than the frame width (133mm), the frame may be reduced accordingly.

Important Notes

Please note that architrave and door furniture are not included with this product. Ensure proper sealing and installation techniques are followed to maintain the integrity of the room divider.
