Installation Details
This double door system allows for sliding directly into discreet pockets within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanised steel and includes the track and necessary fixings. A comprehensive timber lining kit is provided to facilitate a perfect installation finish.
The door jambs come in two size options: 100mm or 125mm. For 3" studwork, 100mm jambs are needed to achieve a finished wall thickness of 100mm with 12.5mm plasterboard. Conversely, 125mm jambs are required for 4" studwork, resulting in a 125mm overall wall thickness with 125mm plasterboard.
Notably, there is no bottom track or threshold strip; the pocket door frame is top-hung from the track. Runners attach to the top of the doors via brackets, allowing for uninterrupted flooring throughout the opening.
