Installation Details

The pocket door system allows you to slide the door straight into a discreet pocket hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanized steel and comes complete with the track and fixings. The cassette system includes a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) for a perfect installation finish.

The door jambs are available in two size options:

• 100mm jambs for 3" studwork, providing a finished wall thickness of 100mm with 12.5mm plasterboard.
• 125mm jambs for 4" studwork, resulting in an overall wall thickness of 125mm when using 125mm plasterboard.

There is no bottom track or threshold strip; as with all our pocket door systems, the single pocket door frame is top-hung from a track. This design allows your flooring to continue through the opening undisturbed.
