This door system allows you to slide the door straight into the discreet pocket hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanised steel and is supplied complete with the track and fixings. The cassette system is supplied with a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to finish the installation perfectly.
The door jambs are available in two size options: 100mm and 125mm. If you are using 3" studwork, you would require 100mm jambs for a finished wall thickness of 100mm with 12.5mm plasterboard. For 4" studwork, the 125mm jambs are needed, resulting in an overall wall thickness of 125mm when using 125mm plasterboard.
There is no bottom track or threshold strip, as this pocket door system is top hung from a track. Inside the track, runners are attached to the top of the door via a bracket, allowing for uninterrupted flooring through the opening. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks are available for separate purchase.
