Product Overview
This Premium Fire Rated Pocket Door System is supplied complete with a white extra slim fire door. This system allows you to slide the door straight into a discreet pocket, which is hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanised steel and is supplied complete with the necessary track and fixings. The cassette system includes a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect installation.
The door jambs are 100mm, and for 3" studwork, you would require 100mm jambs to achieve a finished wall thickness of 100mm when finished with 12.5mm plasterboard.
There is no bottom track or threshold strip; similar to all pocket door systems, the single pocket door frame is top hung from a track. Inside the track, there are runners attached to the top of the door via a bracket, allowing for a seamless flooring transition through the opening without disturbance. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can be purchased separately.
