Product Overview
This Fire Pocket Door System is supplied complete with a white extra slim fire door. The system allows the door to slide directly into a discreet pocket hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanised steel and is supplied complete with the track and fixings. The cassette system includes a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure perfect installation.
The door jambs measure 100mm, and for 3" studwork, 100mm jambs are required to achieve a finished wall thickness of 100mm when finished with 12.5mm plasterboard.
This system has no bottom track or threshold strip; the frame is top hung from a track. Inside the track, runners are attached to the top of the door via a bracket. This design means there's no visible track on the floor, allowing for uninterrupted flooring continuation through the opening. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks are available for separate purchase.
