Product Overview
This Premium Fire Pocket Door System is supplied complete with an Oak Shaker 4L Obscure Glazed Fire Door. This system allows you to slide the door straight into a discreet pocket, which is hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanized steel and includes the necessary track and fixings. Additionally, the cassette system comes with a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect installation.
The door jambs are available in a finished wall thickness of 100mm. The jamb kits are crafted from a special hardwood known as Pterygota bequaertii, commonly referred to as Koto, and are supplied unfinished with a pre-treatment of intumescent primer.
Notably, there is no bottom track or threshold strip. Like all our pocket door systems, the single pocket door frame is top-hung from a track. Inside this track, runners are attached to the top of the door via a bracket. This design eliminates the need for a threshold strip or track on the floor, allowing your flooring to continue through the opening undisturbed. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can be purchased separately.
