Compatibility and Dimensions
The E-Glide system is compatible with doors weighing up to 45kg each and can accommodate door thicknesses of 35mm to 50mm. For doors thicker than 40mm, the pelmet must be built out from the wall to allow smooth sliding. The door widths can range from 610mm to 915mm.
Ensure that the installation wall is free from obstructions such as skirting boards or light fittings for optimal functionality.
Installation and Care Instructions
The pelmets are supplied oversized for on-site trimming to fit the aperture and door widths. It is important to follow the provided finishing instructions to maintain the warranty. Note that doors cannot be trimmed in height from the top edge, as the full lipping thickness is necessary for secure fixing of the hanger bolts. Side and bottom lippings can be trimmed as per instructions.
This system is designed to work with most internal doors except those with raised beads, mouldings, or fire doors.
