Compatibility and Usage

The E-Glide system accommodates both single and double door opening configurations, supporting a maximum door weight of 45kg per door. The system is designed for doors with thicknesses of either 35mm or 40mm. If using thicker doors, up to 50mm, the pelmet must be built out from the wall to allow the door to slide past unobstructed.

Door widths can range from 610mm to 915mm. The sliding door hardware is top-hung, and it is essential that the wall where the E-Glide system is fitted remains free from obstructions such as skirting boards and light fittings.

Installation Guidelines

When installing, please note that doors cannot be reduced in height from the top door edge lipping, as full lipping thickness is necessary for secure fixing of the hanger bolts. However, the side and bottom lippings can be trimmed according to the door instructions provided.

It is crucial to follow the finishing instructions supplied with the doors; improper storage, installation, or finishing may void the warranty.
