Product Description
This double pocket door system allows you to slide the doors straight into a discreet pocket hidden within the wall cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from strong galvanised steel and is supplied complete with the track and fixings. The cassette system comes with a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect finish upon installation.
The door jambs are available in two sizes: 100mm and 125mm. For 3" studwork, the 100mm jambs should be used, resulting in a finished wall thickness of 100mm with 12.5mm plasterboard. For 4" studwork, the 125mm jambs are necessary, yielding an overall wall thickness of 125mm when using 125mm plasterboard.
This system does not include a bottom track or threshold strip. As with all pocket door systems, the frame is top-hung from a track. Runners inside the track are attached to the top of the doors via brackets, eliminating the need for a threshold strip on the floor, allowing for a continuous flooring surface through the opening.
