This Premium Fully Finished Double Pocket Door Set is engineered for strength and stability, featuring a particle board core with solid Oak lippings faced with real Oak veneer. The design includes five vertical panels, giving it a classic cottage style look. This door system allows you to slide the door straight into the discreet pocket hidden within the cavity.
The pocket frame is constructed from galvanised steel and comes complete with the track and fixings. The cassette system includes a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) for a seamless installation.
Installation Details
The door jambs are available in two size options: 100mm or 125mm. If using 3" studwork, opt for the 100mm jambs for a finished wall thickness of 100mm with 12.5mm plasterboard. Conversely, for 4" studwork, choose the 125mm jambs for a total wall thickness of 125mm with 125mm plasterboard.
There is no bottom track or threshold strip as the pocket door frame is top-hung from a track. Inside the track are runners attached to the top of the door via a bracket, allowing for an uninterrupted floor surface.
