Installation and Design
This door system allows for seamless sliding into a discreet pocket within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanised steel and comes complete with track and fixings. The included cassette system features a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect installation.
Door jambs are available in two size options: 100mm or 125mm. If using 3" studwork, the 100mm jambs will result in a finished wall thickness of 100mm with 12.5mm plasterboard. For 4" studwork, 125mm jambs are required, leading to an overall wall thickness of 125mm when using 125mm plasterboard.
Notably, there is no bottom track or threshold strip. The pocket door frame is top-hung from a track, allowing your flooring to continue through the opening undisturbed. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can be purchased separately for added convenience.
