Installation Details
The door jambs are available in two size options: 100mm and 125mm. For 3" studwork, 100mm jambs are recommended to achieve a finished wall thickness of 100mm when using 12.5mm plasterboard. For 4" studwork, 125mm jambs are required, resulting in an overall wall thickness of 125mm with 125mm plasterboard.
This pocket door system does not require a bottom track or threshold strip. Instead, the pocket door frame is top-hung from a track, allowing for an uninterrupted flooring transition through the opening. The included runners are attached to the top of the doors via brackets, ensuring a smooth operation without visible tracks or strips on the floor. Optional accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks are available for separate purchase.
