Installation and Features

The door system allows you to slide the door straight into a discreet pocket hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanised steel and comes complete with the track and fixings. Additionally, a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) is supplied to finish the installation perfectly.

The door jambs are available in two size options: 100mm or 125mm. If you are using 3" studwork, the 100mm jambs are required, while 125mm jambs are necessary for 4" studwork, resulting in overall wall thicknesses of 100mm and 125mm respectively when finished with 12.5mm plasterboard.

There is no bottom track or threshold strip; the single pocket door frame is top-hung from a track. Inside the track, runners are attached to the top of the door via a bracket, ensuring that your flooring can continue uninterrupted through the opening. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can be purchased separately.
