Installation Instructions

For optimal results when trimming the fire door, please follow these guidelines:

• Use a good quality impact glue to reapply the loose edge banding supplied in the package.
• Maintain constant pressure on the edge band until it adheres fully to the long edges of the door.
• Ensure edges are square and flat after trimming for better adherence.

If you prefer not to reapply the spare edge banding, you can paint the long edge using a good quality paint. We recommend applying masking tape to the face edge of the door before painting to avoid overspill. A minimum of two coats is recommended for full protection of the exposed timber lipping.
