Installation Details
This door system allows for seamless sliding into a discreet pocket within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from durable galvanised steel and includes the necessary track and fixings. The cassette system comes with a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a flawless installation.
The door jambs are available in two size options: 100mm or 125mm. If using 3" studwork, the 100mm jambs are recommended to achieve a finished wall thickness of 100mm with 12.5mm plasterboard. For 4" studwork, the 125mm jambs should be utilized for an overall wall thickness of 125mm with 125mm plasterboard.
Notably, there is no bottom track or threshold strip; the pocket door frame is top-hung from a track. Runners are attached to the top of the door via a bracket, allowing for uninterrupted flooring through the opening.
