This door system allows you to slide the door straight into a discreet pocket which is hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanised steel and is supplied complete with the track and fixings, ensuring a seamless installation. The cassette system comes with a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to finish the installation perfectly.
Installation Details
The door jambs are available in two size options: 100mm or 125mm. If you are using 3" studwork, you would require 100mm jambs to achieve a finished wall thickness of 100mm when finished with 12.5mm plasterboard. For 4" studwork, the 125mm jambs are required to maintain an overall wall thickness of 125mm when using 125mm plasterboard.
This system eliminates the need for a bottom track or threshold strip. The single pocket door frame is top hung from a track, allowing your flooring to continue through the opening undisturbed. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can be purchased separately.
