This door system allows you to slide the door straight into the discreet pocket hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from strong galvanised steel and is supplied complete with the track and fixings. The cassette system also comes with a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to finish the installation perfectly.
Installation Details
The door jambs are available in two size options: 100mm or 125mm. If you are using 3" studwork, the 100mm jambs will provide a finished wall thickness of 100mm when completed with 12.5mm plasterboard. For 4" studwork, the 125mm jambs are required, resulting in an overall wall thickness of 125mm when using 125mm plasterboard.
This system does not include a bottom track or threshold strip, as the single pocket door frame is top hung from a track. Inside the track, there are runners attached to the top of the door via a bracket, allowing uninterrupted flooring through the opening. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can be purchased separately.
