Product Overview
This Professional Fire Rated Pocket Door System is supplied complete with a white Extra Slim 6L Fire Door. It allows you to slide the door straight into a discreet pocket hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from heavy-duty galvanised steel and comes complete with the track and fixings. The cassette system includes a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect installation.
The door jambs are 100mm. If you are using 3" studwork, you would require 100mm jambs, resulting in a finished wall thickness of 100mm when finished with 12.5mm plasterboard.
This system does not include a bottom track or threshold strip. As with all our pocket door systems, the single pocket door frame is top hung from a track. Inside the track, runners are attached to the top of the door via a bracket. This design eliminates the need for a threshold strip or track on the floor, allowing your flooring to continue through the opening undisturbed. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks are available for separate purchase.
