Installation and Trimming

This door range comes with edge bands already affixed to the door. However, if on-site trimming is necessary (maximum trimming allowance of 3mm), please follow these guidelines:

• Reapply the edge banding supplied loose within the packaging using a good quality impact glue.
• Maintain constant pressure on the edge band until it fully adheres to the long edges of the door.
• Ensure that the edges are square and flat after trimming for better adherence.

If you prefer not to reapply the spare edge banding, you can simply paint the long edge using a good quality paint that matches the nearest RAL colour to the door's face. It is recommended to apply masking tape to the face edge of the door before painting to prevent overspill. A minimum of two coats is advised for full protection of the exposed timber lipping.
