This pocket door system allows the door to slide straight into a discreet pocket hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from strong galvanised steel and is supplied complete with the necessary track and fixings. The cassette system is included with a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect finish during installation.
The door jambs come in two size options: 100mm and 125mm. If you are using 3" studwork, you will need the 100mm jambs to achieve a finished wall thickness of 100mm when finished with 12.5mm plasterboard. For 4" studwork, the 125mm jambs are required, resulting in an overall wall thickness of 125mm when using 125mm plasterboard.
Notably, there is no bottom track or threshold strip; instead, the single pocket door frame is top-hung from a track. The runners inside the track are attached to the top of the door via a bracket, allowing for an uninterrupted flooring transition through the opening. Optional accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can be purchased separately.
