Moisture Protection

To ensure longevity and durability, it is crucial to coat all faces and edges of both the frames and the doors with a high-quality sealer prior to installation. This protects the divider from moisture ingress, which may lead to shrinkage, warping, twisting, and splitting of the frame and doors. It is advised to avoid using water-based stains, paints, or varnishes for the best results.

Installation Guidelines

For proper installation, please follow the guidelines below:

• Brick Wall: Line the brick wall with polythene between the brickwork and the frame.
• Stud Wall: Ensure the opening of the plasterboard faced stud wall is lined with wood for fixing the frame.
• If the wall is thinner than the frame width (133mm), the frame width can be reduced accordingly.

Please note that architrave and door furniture are not supplied with this product.
