Installation Details
This pocket door system allows the door to slide straight into a discreet pocket hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanized steel and is supplied complete with the track and fixings. The cassette system comes with a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect finish upon installation.
The door jambs are available in two size options:
- 100mm jambs for 3" studwork, providing a finished wall thickness of 100mm with 12.5mm plasterboard
- 125mm jambs for 4" studwork, resulting in a total wall thickness of 125mm with 125mm plasterboard
There is no bottom track or threshold strip, as this pocket door system is top-hung from a track. Runners are attached to the top of the door via a bracket, allowing for a seamless flooring transition throughout the opening.
