Design Features
This innovative door system allows the door to slide smoothly into a discreet pocket concealed within the wall cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from durable galvanized steel and comes complete with the necessary track and fixings. Additionally, the system includes a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) for a flawless installation.
Choose from two size options for the door jambs: 100mm or 125mm. If utilizing 3" studwork, the 100mm jambs will provide a finished wall thickness of 100mm when completed with 12.5mm plasterboard. For 4" studwork, opt for the 125mm jambs to achieve an overall wall thickness of 125mm when finished with 125mm plasterboard.
Installation and Functionality
Our pocket door systems do not require a bottom track or threshold strip, as the single pocket door frame is top-hung from a track. Runners, which are connected to the top of the door via a bracket, ensure smooth operation without disturbing your flooring. Optional accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can be purchased separately.
