Product Overview
This Premium Pocket Door System is supplied complete with a glazed door, allowing you to slide the door straight into a discreet pocket hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from heavy-duty galvanised steel and includes the track and fixings necessary for installation. The cassette system comes with a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect finish.
The door jambs are available in two size options, 100mm or 125mm. For 3" studwork, the 100mm jambs provide a finished wall thickness of 100mm when finished with 12.5mm plasterboard. For 4" studwork, the 125mm jambs are ideal, resulting in an overall wall thickness of 125mm when using 125mm plasterboard.
There is no bottom track or threshold strip; the single pocket door frame is top-hung from a track. Inside the track, runners are attached to the top of the door via a bracket, ensuring that there is no threshold strip or track in the floor, allowing your flooring to continue through the opening undisturbed. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can be purchased separately.
