Product Overview
The Premium Fire Rated Pocket Door System is an elegantly designed and innovative addition to any home. Featuring a dual lined curved finish with deep U-grooves, this set adds depth and sophistication to any space.
This door system allows you to slide the door straight into a discreet pocket hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanized steel and is supplied complete with the track and fixings. The cassette system includes a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect installation.
The door jambs are 100mm; if you are using 3" studwork, you would require 100mm jambs, which gives you a finished wall thickness of 100mm when finished with 12.5mm plasterboard.
There is no bottom track or threshold strip. As with all pocket door systems, the single pocket door frame is top hung from a track. Inside the track, there are runners attached to the top of the door via a bracket. This design means there is no threshold strip or track on the floor, allowing your flooring to continue through the opening undisturbed. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can all be purchased separately.
