Product Overview
This Premium Fire Rated Pocket Door System is supplied complete with a fire door, allowing you to slide the door straight into a discreet pocket hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanised steel and comes complete with the track and fixings. The cassette system includes a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect installation.
The door jambs are available in a finished wall thickness of 100mm. The jamb kits are made from a specific hardwood known as Koto, supplied unfinished and pre-treated with intumescent primer.
There is no bottom track or threshold strip; the single pocket door frame is top hung from a track. Inside the track, runners are attached to the top of the door via a bracket, allowing your flooring to continue through the opening undisturbed. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can be purchased separately.
