Installation Guidelines

Prior to installation, it is essential to coat all faces and edges of both the frames and the doors with a good quality sealer to protect against moisture ingress. Failure to do so may lead to shrinkage, warping, twisting, and splitting of the frame and doors. Water-based stains, paints, or varnishes are not recommended.

Wall Installation Recommendations

• Brick Wall: Ensure the brick wall is lined with polythene between the brickwork and the frame.
• Stud Wall: The opening of the plasterboard faced stud wall needs to be lined with wood onto which the frame can be fixed.
• If the wall is thinner than the frame width (133mm), the frame width can be reduced for a better fit.
