Description
The Premium Double Pocket Door System is supplied complete with two heavy-duty doors. This innovative system allows you to slide the doors directly into discreet pockets hidden within the wall cavity, providing a clean and modern look.
The pocket frame is constructed from strong galvanised steel and comes complete with the necessary track and fixings. The system also includes a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect installation finish.
Jambs are available in two size options: 100mm and 125mm. For 3-inch studwork, the 100mm jambs are recommended, yielding a finished wall thickness of 100mm when finished with 12.5mm plasterboard. For 4-inch studwork, the 125mm jambs are necessary, resulting in an overall wall thickness of 125mm when using 125mm plasterboard.
Notably, there is no bottom track or threshold strip; the pocket door frame is top-hung from a track. Runners are attached to the top of the doors via a bracket, eliminating floor track interference and allowing flooring to flow seamlessly through the opening. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks are available for separate purchase.
