Description
This Fire Pocket Door System is supplied complete with a fire door that allows you to slide the door straight into the discreet pocket hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from galvanised steel and is supplied complete with the track and fixings. The cassette system comes with a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect installation.
The door jambs are available in a finished wall thickness of 100mm, constructed from a specific hardwood known as Pterygota bequaertii, commonly referred to as Koto (supplied unfinished) and pre-treated with intumescent primer.
There is no bottom track or threshold strip; the single pocket door frame is top hung from a track. Inside the track, runners are attached to the top of the door via a bracket, allowing your flooring to continue undisturbed through the opening. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can be purchased separately.
