Product Overview
This Premium Pocket Door System is supplied complete with a 4L door. It allows you to slide the door straight into a discreet pocket, which is hidden within the cavity. The pocket frame is constructed from strong galvanized steel and is supplied complete with the track and fixings. The cassette system comes with a comprehensive timber lining kit (jambs) to ensure a perfect installation.
Door Jamb Options
The door jambs are available in two size options: 100mm or 125mm. If you are using 3" studwork, then you would require 100mm jambs to achieve a finished wall thickness of 100mm when finished with 12.5mm plasterboard. For 4" studwork, the 125mm jambs are required, resulting in an overall wall thickness of 125mm with 125mm plasterboard.
Installation Features
There is no bottom track or threshold strip; as with all pocket door systems, the single pocket door frame is top hung from a track. Inside the track, there are runners attached to the top of the door via a bracket. This design eliminates the need for a threshold strip or track in the floor, allowing your flooring to continue through the opening undisturbed. Accessories such as soft door closers, flush door pulls, and bathroom locks can be purchased separately.
